I rented a house through the property company in London for 4 years and they were awful. Nothing was ever fixed, things which needed to be fixed for insurance to even cover us were never looked at, and at the end of our tenancy they overcharged us for damages eight times the amount which was due, we spent 2 months getting this down to what it should have been.

Wonderful company! Had a wonderful agent, Georgina, working with me and my housemates for the house we are currently in. She was very professional and very responsive, as well as helping us out every step of the process, specially since we are all students. The Property Company is also extremely helpful to international students and have made it possible to have everything done very quickly.
Very happy with the house as well as how this company works, specially the agent we worked with.

First time renting through The Property Company and the process was the smoothest I have ever experienced. Everything was handled with upmost efficiency and care. Georgina was exceptionally helpful not only in regards to the property but with her knowledge of the surrounding area. Helps she was also super nice and friendly!
Thanks so much TPC and Georgina, look forward to being a tenant for the foreseeable!

Avoid like the plague. Called about a flat I wanted to see and was taken to another one first (which was horrendous) and given the hard sell.
Finally took the one I wanted. During my tenancy, the whole building managed by the Property Company suffered numerous boiler breakdowns and we went without heating or hot water for weeks at a time during extremely cold spells in winter. Stayed there for 2 years and made improvements to the place (cleaned, painted, had services installed etc.).
Upon vacating the property, I agreed with the letting agent and the new tenants to leave some furniture I didn't need. Was later charged for the removal of these items and my deposit was withheld. Went back to the property to discover none of the items had been removed and the tenant was still using them.
Argued over getting my deposit back and they attempted to draw me into a negotiation stating that the carpet was in worse condition than when I had moved in (despite my using rugs to protect it). Went to the deposit protection scheme and found it all so laborious that I gave up rather than draw out a thoroughly unpleasant experience. My neighbours all had similar experiences of the Property Company, particularly in having deposits returned.
Unscrupulous, dishonest and thoroughly unprofessional from start to finish. Try to deal with a landlord directly if at all possible.

I had a very good customer experience with the Property company. My agent Georgina was the friendliest and most professional real estate agent I am yet to work with. She paid attention to what was important to me in my search and was very patient throughout the entire process. I couldn’t recommend her enough.

The Property Company agents are one of the most professional and friendly Estate agents we have ever dealt with. They were so helpful, especially Georgina to ease our search for ideal property to rent - starting from the appointment viewing, organizing our paperwork until the process of signing the rental agreement with the landlord. the whole process was prompt and hassle-free. you will definitely be in good hands with their service.
I have no hesitation in highly recommending them as the best agents in this area.

Georgina made the whole process of looking for and letting a flat extremely easy and stress-free. It's nice to see that not only does a letting agent know the property, but also the people in the local area - and Georgina seemed to get on with everyone! If there's a Christmas employee competition to be won, she's surely a favourite!

I am very thankful for choosing THE PROPERTY COMPANY and Georgina since everything has been great throughout the whole process. Her effective way of communicating and her friendly personality eased a lot of concerns we had when it came to renting a property.
This profesional young lady made the entire process very clear and helped us understand it up front when we first met; which properties we were able to rent, what information she needed from us, etc.
The best part was we never felt like we were being pressured and she would give us advices every time we asked in a neutral tone, which we appreciated. Overall, Extremely happy.
Forgot to say! Thank you very much for the gift box.

Awful company. Rude and obnoxious post deal and reluctant to return back to deposit - by that I mean just completely fall off the face of the Earth when trying to contact post tenancy. Please if you have any sense, stay well away!

I have had the services from The Property Company for over six years now and I am very happy with them. I never have to wait more than a few hours to have anything fixed when something goes wrong. My agent, Georgina Gavriel is very helpful. I am so happy with the service that I decided to stick with them for my next move. I'm over the moon with the new flat, and signed for the next two years.

This company is lazy, doesn't do their job, places blame elsewhere, is not accountable, lies and screws over both their tenants and their landlords.
They don't want to spend any of their own money to sort out issues in their properties. However, as soon as it's the tenants money they can use they'll feel free to get the top range vip service at your cost so they can fleece you for as much as possible to their benefit.
Cost me hours and hours of my time while I was a tenant in one of their properties trying to get them to sort out minor issues that they said they had sorted before I moved in.
I will be avoiding in future and would recommend tenants and landlords to do the same.

I am very pleased with the services of the Property Company so far. Everything went well and pretty fast right from the beginning. I was initially dealing with Stayth, who showed me the flat and guided me through the process of applying to rent.
In the viewing appointment he gave me plenty of time to view carefully the apartment, answered all my questions and explained me the next steps very thoroughly. After I applied to rent the property, he was being supportive, efficient and very quick answering my calls/texts/emails.

I have recently rented a flat from The Property Company the agent that deal with Georgina Gavriel, who was very helpful and understanding to my needs. The process was laid out to me in no way less than i could understand, this was my first rental in a very long time. I was kept up to date with each process and was inform before hand what the next step would be and what was required.
When I had difficulties at any point of the process Georgina was never to busy help me, whether it was to explain or made a few enquirers on my behave and with question she always got back to me, commendation an having excellent customer service skills.
Thanks to you and The Crouch End Team I am now living in a wonder flat.

We have recently rented a house through the Property Company, and are very pleased with the service we have received. Vincent, the negotiator, was friendly and helpful when showing us round the property (quickly correcting a slight mix-up with the viewing time). He gave us plenty of space to look around and then talked us through the paperwork with good humour and patience. In the following weeks, he contacted us just the right amount of times - not with every little question, but saving us the questions and sending them/calling us in one go, which we appreciated. He also helped us understand the referencing process, which was smooth and went well. It was a pleasant surprise how quickly everything went - from viewing to moving in took only about 2 weeks. TPC also gave us a big box of starter supplies - cleaning things, tea and coffee and so on, which was a nice touch.
Since we have moved in, things have also gone well. It took a little while to get confirmation of gas safety certificate and the inventory, but understandable given how quickly the move-in went. John, our property manager, has also been quick to answer questions, and when we brought a few issues to his attention, they were resolved very quickly.
In short, we can strongly recommend The Property Company for renting a house in North London!

Not only did the company help us to find a great property, but it provided us with the sufficient information, support and documentation needed to make the process swift and hassle-free. I can vouch for the efficiency, professionality and cordiality of all I have had contact with at The Property Company. Thanks for all your help!

The Property Company did an exceptional job at helping me and my partner find our first flat. Big shout out to the friendly Ricky Bloomberg who is the lettings manager in the Crouch End branch and who took on our case. We still can’t believe we managed to find such a lovely studio flat with a big garden (this is very rare for studios so we couldn’t be more excited) and within our budget. Well done Ricky and the team, who made the process swift and answered all our questions and concerns along the way. Many thanks.

The Property Company was really helpful when I moved, especially Stayth who answered every question I asked him (and I asked him a lot). He got me moved in in record time and I'm now enjoying my flat in Tufnell Park. The only problem is, which I didn't notice when I viewed the property, is that there is no blinds on my windows and it's the middle of summer!

Georgina and Louis very helpful in finding us a lovely flat. We were interested in several properties, and they were quick to communicate any changes and organise viewings (or let us know if someone had, unfortunately, taken the flat we were interested in and suggest a good alternative), and once we found a flat we liked, the process moved quickly and smoothly. Emails were responded to helpfully and promptly in all cases.
Looking forward to moving in!

overall the process has been fairly smooth. Arranging the view and signing the contract (with Georgina, great work) was quite pleasant. On the other hand, I have received absolutely 0 support once in the house. The maintenance man (Agi) not once came to help when I needed. On the other hand, the landlords were pretty great. If they get their maintenance support on track this agency will get five stars easily

Easily one of the most professional companies- irrespective of sector- that I have dealt with. Their pro-activity and integrity in ensuring things got done properly was very reassuring. Special mention should go to Louis, whose help and empathy from start to finish of the renting process was admirable.
