Trains run from stations at Hornsey and Alexandra Palace can get you to Moorgate in around 20 minutes. The area is well connected by the bus network, with 43 travelling towards London Bridge and the 134 heading towards Tottenham Court Road. Muswell Hill is close to the North Circular which makes it easier for drivers to get in and out of London.
Alexandra Palace Park offers the perfect escape from the chaos of the big city. The park was constructed in Victorian times as a leisure and entertainment destination. When exploring the 200 acres of green space, you can enjoy fantastic panoramic views of London, a boating lake and a farmers market. You can also check out what is going on at the Alexandra Palace itself. Known as the ‘Ally Pally’, the Palace is host to art exhibitions, music concerts and other events throughout the year.

Local primary schools within the area such as St James Church of England Primary School, Our Lady of Muswell Catholic Primary School, and Muswell Hill Primary School were rated as either Good or Outstanding in recent Ofsted reports. When it comes to secondary schools, the Alexandra Park School has been rated by Outstanding by Ofsted while the Fortismere School was ranked as the 12th best country in the UK by the Sunday Times in 2016.
